This month for the November 2023 episode of the RCEM Learning Podcast we’re focusing on the RCEM ASC. Acute Aortic Dissection
This session covers the diagnosis and initial management of a patient with acute aortic dissection.
Valvular Heart Disease
There are two cardiac valves on the left side (aortic and mitral) and two on the right side (pulmonary and tricuspid)
Recognising Paediatric Sepsis
Early recognition and treatment of sepsis in children is crucial as progression to organ failure and shock is often very rapid.

Very informative
Interesting and informative. Good intro methods to use when assessing patients with suspected Aortic dissection, gained awareness of the TERN U CORKED research which I will register for if not already being done in my ED. Overall quite a b it not knowledge gained in a variety of areas. Excellent podcast.
