What are the Induction Modules?
RCEMLearning provides a structured Induction Programme designed to support clinicians who are new to Emergency Medicine or returning to practice.
The modules cover key clinical presentations and core topics in both Emergency Medicine (EM) and Paediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM). Each module includes a short assessment to reinforce learning and support knowledge development during the early stages of working in the Emergency Department.
Who is it for?
The programme is suitable for:
- Doctors new to Emergency Medicine
- Trainees starting a new rotation
- Clinicians returning to the Emergency Department
Access is organised locally through your hospital or department.
What’s included?
- A range of EM and PEM induction modules
- Core topics such as abdominal pain, chest pain, trauma, and more
- End-of-module MCQs to test understanding
- Certificates for successful completion
Access without registration
You can explore all Induction modules without registering.
This allows you to:
- Read through all topics and learning content
- Familiarise yourself with key Emergency Medicine concepts
However, without an induction account, you will not be able to:
- Complete the end-of-module MCQs
- Receive certificates of completion
- Track your progress
To gain full access, including assessments and certification, you will need to register through your hospital’s Induction Programme.
