A 50-year-old female patient re-attends to the Emergency department (ED) with left shoulder pain 10 days after a fall. She initially attended another ED shortly after the injury where she was reviewed by an ED consultant and discharged with analgesia.
She has no known drug allergies and no significant past medical or surgical history. She is independent and has been living on her own since her husband passed away from lung cancer.
