A 45-year-old male was referred by his GP to the Emergency Department (ED) with a low grade headache focused around his left eye. His wife had noticed his left upper eyelid droop and left pupil persistently constrict around midday the previous day. His preceding symptom to this was a sudden severe headache locating to his left frontal area, 6 hours prior. He also felt nauseous at that time.
PMHx was unremarkable apart from occasional left sided cluster headaches.
