Cardinal Features and Treatment

The cardinal features of RVOT include:

  • LBBB
  • Right axis deviation

Treatment

RVOT occurs in the absence of apparent structural heart disease. It can be treated like an SVT if you are sure of the diagnosis. It usually responds to adenosine, a beta-blocker or a calcium antagonist. Long-term management with radio-ablation of the right ventricle outflow region can be successful in 90-95% of patients [6].
