In cases of a fractured neck of femur, adequate analgesia should be sought to be administered within how long of presentation to the emergency department?

The patient's x-ray does not demonstrate any bony injury, however he still feels unable to mobilise beyond half a metre. From talking to his wife (who has no health issues and is independent of additional care) you learn that he has been having ‘quite a few falls’ in the past few months, and that his walk had become more of a 'shuffle' as of late.
