Clinical Case 1
Lawrence is a 26-year-old previously fit and well rugby player. He has fracture dislocation of his shoulder – there is an avulsion of the greater tuberosity. He has had 10mg of intravenous morphine pre x-ray and a further 5mg post x-ray. He last ate 6 hours ago. He is still uncomfortable. There is no suggestion of neuropraxia.
