Hyperkalaemia

Tenting of the T waves is the classic appearance associated with hyperkalaemia; however ST Segment elevation may also be seen.

This is characteristically downward sloping [10].

Other features of hyperkalaemia include widening of the QRS complex and low amplitude or absent P waves.

These changes resolve as hyperkalaemia is treated. See the ECG before treatment and after treatment:
