Non-shockable Rhythm Arm of The ALS Algorithm

The non-shockable arm is simple.

Give adrenaline 1mg 1:10,000 IV as soon as IV access is achieved and then every 3-5minutes.

Either of the two non-shockable rhythms might be identified on the monitor:

• Pulseless electrical activity (PEA)
• Asystole
