A 94-year-old female with dementia was referred to the ED from her residential home. She had a 2 day history of anorexia, lethargy and loose stools 3 times a day. On examination she appeared dehydrated. Her regular medications were paracetamol and omeprazole.
En route to hospital ambulance crew noted a transient arrhythmia (shown) on the cardiac monitor.
