You are working in the Emergency Department when the police telephone in to give warning that they are bringing in someone under Section 136 of the MHA.  Caroline has been found on one of the local beaches in distress and told the police that she intends to drown herself.

There is no record of a previous presentation to the Emergency Department for any reason
