Liaison psychiatry come and review Mrs Williams and they agree that she is experiencing a relapse in Bipolar disorder and is currently experiencing a manic episode. They tell you that she has had a relatively recent inpatient admission to the psychiatric ward. She had been detained under Section 2 with an episode of mania on that occasion as well.
