Q:        Who can register and how?

A:        This package is designed for Hospital Departments who want a resource that they can share with their new inductees, that helps with the induction process. Ideally to be used for Doctors who are new to Emergency Medicine or those returning after a long period away from EDTo register, your hospital department will need to nominate a supervisor, who will register your departments interests and confirm all inductee information. If you are a supervisor – please email induction@rcem.ac.uk to enquire further or if you are ready to register your inductees, you can do this via our online form

Q:        My Hospital department hasn’t registered, can I still access the content?

A:        There is a basic version of the Induction program, it contains all the content areas above. Please click on the ‘FOAMed’ tab and then ‘RCEM Induction.’ The only difference is that you will not be able to access the assessment questions for each section, that is for registered users.

Q:        How do I access my account once registered?

A:        Once registered, you will automatically receive an email instructing you how to log in to your account. If you do not receive this, please email induction@rcem.ac.uk.

  1. Go to www.rcemlearning.co.uk
  2. Click ‘Log in’ tab
  3. Enter your username and password
  4. Under the ‘exams’ tab you will find ‘RCEM Induction’

Q:        Can I track my progress?

A:        Yes – you will have access to read the content and answer the set questions at the end of each module. Your progress is recorded when you complete the quiz and save the module. You can view your results in your CPD diary and make note of any additional reflections/outcomes on the modules you have completed. Supervisors will be able to see the progress made by each of their assigned Inductees.

Q:        I am logged in to the site, but I am not able to complete the Learning Sessions/SAQs?

A:        This is because the Induction package provides access to a limited part of the site – you will not be able to access the other exams as they are a member- only benefit.

Q:        I already have an RCEMLearning account, but I want to be a part of my hospital’s induction group too. Is this possible?

A:        Yes! Please inform your supervisor to let us know – or drop us an email induction@rcem.ac.uk.
